By NICK SLOAN, nick@kansascitykansan.com

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ----- Wyandotte County's Republicans will vote today in a number of significant state-wide primaries.

U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts is facing three Republican challengers today in a primary. Milton Wolf figures to be Roberts' main competition. Recent polls indicated that Wolf has narrowed Roberts' advantage, but Roberts is still considered the favorite to win today.

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach also face challengers. Both are big favorites to advance to the general election in November.

Republicans also have five choices in the Kansas Insurance Commissioner's race.
