WEATHER: Are you ready for some snow?


KANSAS CITY, KAN. ---- Wyandotte County may have its first measurable snow accumulation by Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service is predicting 1-2 inches of snow over the next 24 hours.

Forecast:
Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 34. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. 
Wednesday Night: Periods of snow. Low around 28. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible. 
Thursday: Snow likely before 8am, then a chance of snow and freezing drizzle between 8 a.m. and noon, then a chance of drizzle after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 34. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
